Sick, round 2
Mar. 6th, 2008 10:11 pmLast night Danny had a temperature of 101°F. I kept him home from school today.
This afternoon he was still sluggish. The ear thermometer gave me readings between 99° and 102°.
I've canceled my rehearsal for tomorrow morning because all signs point to another day at home. And do you think he could go to sleep early? Hell no. He's still awake even though he "went to bed" at 8:30. Sadie too. I am irrationally furious about this, because it happens pretty much all the time. Bedtime takes HOURS. When do I get to just tuck the kids in with a kiss and have a few precious hours of quiet time before I go to bed myself? Really, by 10:00 I'm pretty much out of steam.
