So my car is in the shop again. It started making a funny noise somewhere in Connecticut while I was driving home with the kids from PA. I remember it was Connecticut because I started watching the GPS to see when we were within 100 miles of home because that's how far AAA will tow us if we break down.

I love AAA.

Anyway, we didn't break down, but since the noise didn't go away I took the car to my mechanic this morning. He thinks it's the wheel bearings, which could have been a big problem on the interstate, so I left the van with him and made arrangements for the rest of the day. There goes our tax refund.
