Writer's Block: Jackpot
Feb. 19th, 2009 07:21 am[Error: unknown template qotd]Here's a bit of irony, to have this be the "writer's block" question the day after my poor-me diatribe -- and believe me, what actually got published was quite a bit toned down from the reality of my yesterday. Today is the same but without the element of surprise, so the drama should be a little less obvious.
So it shouldn't come as any surprise that my "newfound riches" would go immediately to paying off every debt we have, from the mortgage to the smallest credit card bill. If there were anything left, either a savings account or an investment account. Everyday life could then be just the same as it is now, only our paychecks would give us plenty of money to eat out when we feel like it without feeling guilty, take care of some of the unfinished house projects, and hire people to clean out the yard and organize the house so we can start fresh.
And as soon as I finish my oatmeal, I'll reorganize my paper clip collection.
