mereilinYesterday started bright and early with a chunk of my tooth snapping off in my breakfast burrito. If you're keeping track, this is the same tooth that started hurting when I bit into a pistachio in January. I am dreading dealing with this on several levels -- the expense, the inconvenience, the irrational fear of pain... Also it's a kind of admission that I'm getting older, which is unpleasant to confront all by itself.
Yesterday was a day of stressing out about the stupid broken tooth and the fact that I feel woefully underrehearsed for what was supposed to have been two pieces and turned out to be significantly more stage time than I bargained for (clearly I need to brush up on my bargaining skills).
It was a day where Sadie crawled onto the couch at the studio at 6:00 with a smoldering fever and fell asleep.
Let's hope today is better.
