That's an actual ad -- I suspect (hope?) it wasn't written by native speakers of English. Anyway -- Istanbul? No thanks.
I'm fighting a cold with varying degrees of success. I missed both of my Tuesday volunteer commitments because I just felt so lousy yesterday. I don't feel a lot better today, but time is running out to come up with Halloween costumes for the kids. Photos will be posted at a later date of whatever I manage to come up with.

Date: 2008-10-29 04:49 pm (UTC)One year in desperation, I made Ann a white raglan sleeved gown, painted her face white, pinned homework assignments all over the gown, and made her the ghost of undone homework. ;) She got a prise! Pinkachoo (or whatever that stupid Dragon Ball Z thing is) was simply a headband with yellow ears sewn on and a yellow tail, add red lipstick cheeks, and we were in business. Gypsies and Hobos are always easy. Paper bags have many uses, too.
Hope you feel better.
