It's Friday

A little late to the party -- I finally watched Deathly Hallows (part one). Figured I'd better, now that part two has been released.
My thoughts:

- SO relieved I didn't have to watch a snake come out of Bathilda Bagshot's head.
- WTF... with all the stuff they had to cut for time, why add the awkward dance?
- Tonks was completely robbed of any relevance from her first appearance in the films.
- Oh, hi Bill Weasley.
- For someone who's half-veela, Fleur is really kind of ordinary looking.
- Way to make almost zero effort to conceal your identity, Harry. Even Hermione's stinging jinx was half-assed.
- It bothered me that the seat saved for Severus wasn't at Voldemort's right hand, as it was in the book.

However, having just watched the movie made this parody SO much more enjoyable:

Just think how much more they could have actually shown and explained if they left all that boring stuff out of the first movie. The book was so slow, but they didn't have to make the movie that way. I am almost sorry I read the books before seeing the movies. Meh.
